After a lazy morning in college, we decided to have our lunch at Bibis Fashion & Cafe. This cafe was introduced and recommended to us by Page. Apparently the owner of this cafe is a friend of his mom and he just recently celebrated Mother's Day there.

The cafe is just opposite of Gurney Paragon and we pass by this cafe every other day, but eating here never crossed our minds. So why not give it a try? Parking is quite convenient here, the cafe have their own parking lot though the space is limited but still good enough.

The interior of the cafe is quite unique. Chair and tables varies from all different shapes, designs and size. The atmosphere is just quite enough with slow music playing in the background. Not many restaurants or cafes are aware of this, but the temperature of the restaurant do actually effect the customers. Air conditioning was at a reasonable temperature so it really was a moment for us to relax before heading to SPCA for community service. Not  to mention our waitress is very friendly and helpful.

This was what I ordered - Curry Baguette and Hot Chocolate. Didn't manage to snap a picture of my hot chocolate because it came late and we just took it to go. Jerry had her bacon and eggs sandwich that was served on a wooden platter, really creative though! It had the whole English breakfast look to it. I didn't pay much attention to what the others ordered because I was just so in love with my baguette.

I was told by the waitress that their baguettes will come fresh every morning. Shockingly, it lives up to its name of freshness! Literally every crunch in every bite. I'm drooling just thinking about it again. So if you are ever around Gurney area looking for a unique place for lunch, do give BIBIS a try. They even serve dinner as well, but that would be a different menu. I haven't tried it yet, but some day I will!
